About This Game
DRAGON BALL Xenoverse 2 is a fighting action role-playing game, released for Nintendo Switch on September 22, 2017. Players create their own character and join the Time Patrol in Conton City, travelling back to famous battles from across Dragon Ball history that the villains Towa and Mira have changed, and fighting alongside Goku and the other heroes to put the timeline right.
Custom fighters are built from five races, including Saiyans, Earthlings and the Frieza Race, each with its own transformations, and new attacks are learned by training under mentors taken from the series. Alongside the story there are Parallel Quests for up to three players in co-op, six-player Expert Missions against powerful bosses, online battles, and a large shared city hub. The Switch version also includes the first game’s story campaign as a playable mode, plus motion controls for certain signature moves.
