About This Game
Pokémon Legends Z-A is an action role-playing game set entirely within Lumiose City, a large city being reshaped under an urban redevelopment plan. You play as a visiting trainer who settles in the city, explores its districts, rooftops and wild zones, and enters the Z-A Royale, a competition where trainers battle to climb from Rank Z up to Rank A.
Battles play out in real time, with the trainer moving alongside their Pokémon while each move runs on its own cooldown and range. Wild zones inside the city hold wild Pokémon that can be fought or caught, and certain Pokémon can Mega Evolve during battle. A day and night cycle changes the city as you explore, and at night battle zones open for ranked Z-A Royale matches, alongside side missions, shops and outfit options.
